Tablelands Folk Festival

The Tablelands Folk Festival Yungaburra Sessions has had a rather chequered past. Some months attracting a great crowd, some months a quiet affair.

The July sessions featuring one of North Queensland’s premier entertainers , Jeremiah Johnson should prove to be the former.

Jeremiah returns to the Sessions stage at the Yungaburra Pub on Saturday 25th July from 7 pm. As usual the event kicks off at 3 pm with the infamous verandah jam session featuring some of the best Celtic players in Far North Queensland.

We are also very proud to announce that this will be the 2014 Tablelands Folk Festival Program Launch. If you want to be one of the first to see who’s performing at this year’s Festival, come along for a sneak preview.

Tickets for this year’s Festival go on sale on 1st August. Go to the Festival Web site after that date and purchase your tickets on line. Numbers will be capped again this year so it’s first in best dressed.

Last year’s festival was a close to sell out event and we expect a similar result this year.

If you are interested in getting involved in the 2014 Festival, come along to the Festival planning meeting. Yungaburra Pub from 2 pm, Saturday 25th July.
