Golden Drop Winery is a family owned and operated boutique winery, situated on the largest commercial mango plantation in Far North Queensland. The mango wines come in three delicious varieties - dry, medium and sweet and are available in 375ml and 750ml bottles. Dry is light and fresh with a subtle bouguet of fruit, medium is a semi sweet wine, softer on the palate with a stronger hint of fruit, and the sweet is very smooth and has a rich undertone of fruit.
The mangoes are grown, harvested and processed in the one place. Sample (for a fee) dry, medium or sweet wine, liqueur, purchase wines, liqueur, champagne, dried mango, frozen mango pulp etc

Directions: Driving from Atherton, go north through Mareeba and once youve crossed over the bridge on the outskirts of town, continue for 10 minutes until you reach the small town of Biboohra. Follow the signs from here. |
