Where to Eat

The term ‘from paddock to plate’ could easily have been coined about the Tablelands. The region is the fertile food bowl of the tropics, producing sugar cane, coffee, tea, milk, avocados, mangoes, maize, strawberries, potatoes, macadamias, superb beef and red claw yabbies …. the list goes on and on. The region’s chefs enjoy turning this bounty into tempting tasting plates. Stop at one of the well stocked roadside stalls and pick up a basket of produce, visit one of the producers ‘cellar door’ style, or make a reservation and enjoy the service at one of the region’s restaurants, hotels or cafes. Savour and enjoy!
