This park features a pleasant walk on boardwalks and graded paths through vine-entwined rainforest to a small creek.
Climbing palms twist to the forest canopy, creating a green curtain of foliage.
Allow 30 minutes walking time, 750 metres one-way.
The walk can be accessed from the small car parking bay on Barang Street or by following the paved pathway near the Kuranda Information Centre in the village. The walk descends to the crossing over Jumrum Creek and climbs gently up to Barron Falls Road. Visitors can retrace their steps or link onto the well sign-posted Kuranda village circuit walk, which continues along the Jungle and River walks to the railway station and returns through the village to complete the circuit.
