Koombaloomba Dam is popular with water skiers and anglers, accessible from Tully Falls Road, Ravenshoe.
The dam is not part of the Koomboolomba National Park and Conversation Park.
The roads to the dam are accessible by conventional vehicles with high clearance although four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended.
There are no wheelchair-accessible facilities in Koombooloomba National Park. The camping area in Koombooloomba Conservation Park has a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
Camping permits are required and booked prior to arrival via Queensland National Parks booking platform.
